Most of our wordpress themes contain a built-in responsive slideshow, which is based on the Nivoslider. You can set it up in the Appearance/Customize/Slideshow. There are a few things to know about setting it up:
- resize or cut your slideshow images to the same size. When your page width is set to 1020px, then 980px wide slideshow images are ideal. For 1200px page width 1160px is the ideal slideshow image width.
- You can set, on which pages the slideshow should appear, e.g. on all pages, on the Front page, or on the blog page. There is also a possibility to specify the page/post IDs, on which you need the slideshow. You can find the page or post ID when you edit the page or post: the ID is in the URL, like in http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=145&action=edit (the ID of the post or page is 145).
- The max. number of slides are 8 in the pro wordpress themes, and 4 in the free themes.
